Police appeal for witnesses to road rage incident in Bristol

Witnesses are being sought following a road rage incident in which a Mercedes driver struck the windscreen of another vehicle.

The "disagreement" happened on the approach to Eastgate Roundabout on Muller Road on July 10.

Drivers of a silver coloured Ford C-Max and black Mercedes were involved in a confrontation at around 3.30pm.

The driver of the Mercedes is alleged to have struck and damaged the windscreen of the other vehicle.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

"We’re appealing for your help following a disagreement between two drivers earlier this month," a police spokesman said.

"The driver of the Mercedes is alleged to have struck and damaged the windscreen of the other vehicle.

"As traffic was heavy at the time of the incident, we believe there were a number of people in the area who may be able to help us with our enquiries.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who might be able to help us. If you can help, please contact us quoting reference 5219157045."
