With both teams short-handed, the Boston Celtics hold on vs. the Philadelphia 76ers

In a game where both teams were short-handed, the Boston Celtics managed to hold on and secure a 125-119 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers. Veteran big man Al Horford played a crucial role in the win, making big defensive plays and adding 20 points, including a key 3-pointer. Despite not having star forward Jayson Tatum for the fourth quarter after his ejection, the Celtics received contributions from multiple players, including reserve guard Payton Pritchard and two way big man Neemias Queta.

Horford’s impact on the game was evident, and he has been playing some of the best basketball of his career in recent weeks. The Celtics’ defense also played a significant role in the win, with Jrue Holiday stepping up to take a charge late in the game. The team now has a couple of days off before their next game against the Indiana Pacers.

NBC Sports Boston’s Tom Giles, Chris Forsberg and Brian Scalabrine weighed in on what they saw in the tilt on “Postgame Live”.
