Wisconsin woman goes to Milwaukee bar. Then the bouncer proceeds to crawl under the table and suck her toes: ‘Why did you let it get that far?’

A Wisconsin woman has taken the “put a finger down challenge” to a new level. That is because she has had one of the most “unique” and truly horrifying individual experiences a person can encounter while visiting a Milwaukee bar.

In a video with over 4,000 views, Allie Tietz (@xo.allietietz) explained how a bartender at a Milwaukee hotspot took one of her socks off her foot and “sucked her toes” without permission. Later, Tietz posted about the situation, clarifying that she reported it to staff members and that other women experienced the same thing.

Tietz goes to a bar, only to get followed and touched without permission

Tietz, who posted her video on Nov. 14, said she went to a bar in the Milwaukee area the day prior. When she arrived, a “bouncer” followed her inside the building and approached her.

Confused, she assumed that he was trying to make friendly conversation. But he started to take one of her shoes off her foot. Tietz froze up as the man began rubbing her foot. Then he took off her sock and put his head underneath the table she was sitting at to suck on her toes.

How did the bartender do that in a public Milwaukee bar?

Some commenters wondered how the situation even escalated that far.

“Serious question… why did you let it get that far?” one person asked. Another viewer replied with a possible explanation, saying, “A lot of people freeze up when being harassed like this. Especially if the dude is so much bigger.”

The original commenter still had doubts, but others chimed in and called Tietz’s reaction a fawn response. The fawn response is a survival mechanism that typically kicks in when reacting to stress, shock, or trauma. Sometimes, victims simply freeze. This often can be misinterpreted as people pleasing or “allowing” something to occur, but it is anything but that.

As Psychology Today describes, fawning “is commonly misunderstood due to its complexity,” and has deeply embedded psychological patterns. People with hyper-attunement may be more likely to fawn as a way of feeling safer in an uncomfortable situation.

But what happened to Tietz in the bar was also just a generally shocking occurrence. This may be a situation where she was “too stunned to speak,” or even act accordingly. All of what Tietz described can technically happen within the span of seconds, so it’s not unreasonable to think she simply did not react at that time.

Tietz’s experience was unwarranted and, based on her video, entirely unwanted. Others urged her to file a police report, but some said that her “fawn response” may prevent her from having a case. Either way, how she reacted was not necessarily uncommon or a sign that she “wanted” what happened to happen.

What Milwaukee bar did this incident occur at?

Many people were wondering where in Milwaukee this incident occurred. And no, it’s not the Motherspike, which some unhappy republicans accused of peeing in drinks.

“I didn’t catch the part where you previously named the bar. So… what is the said bar?” asked one commenter. Another person replied, saying, “It was Taylor’s.”

Taylor’s is a downtown bar in Milwaukee with 3.7 out of 5 stars on Yelp as of Dec. 25, 2025. According to those reviews, it has a very “casual” upscale energy.

Tietz simply liked the message referring to the downtown bar. That does not necessarily confirm that this incident happened at Taylor’s, but other discussions and debates in the comments implied it was the location that Tietz visited that night.

A bouncer who reportedly works at the local spot even commented, saying, “Well I’m a bouncer at Taylor’s and I wanna know who that was.” Tietz also liked this message.

In a later video, Tietz said, “I know a lot of people kind of figured out what bar it was and I just wanted to come on here and say everyone that I’ve talked that works there has been nothing but… helpful, super nice, and understanding… I just kind of wanted to let everybody know that they should not feel unsafe going there.”

What else happened after the incident?

According to Tietz, the situation has “been handled” with the bar’s staff. She contacted other community members, bouncers and bartenders to reach a conclusion.

During her update video, she discussed how she “should have” walked away when her shoe came off, but didn’t necessarily know how to. She also clarified that the blame ultimately remains with the employee who behaved in an unruly way in the first place.

Tietz explained, “ Someone who is employed at a business and is on the clock.. [They] should not be sitting on the other side of the bar and not be acting that way at a place that they’re employed.”

According to Tietz, other women directly messaged her and let her know the exact same thing happened to her and that she was not alone. The bartender working at that establishment had a habit, which Tietz described as a “foot fetish.”

She mentioned how the bar approached the situation and said that it was safe to go there. “ They were super understanding,” she clarified. “The situation has been taken care of. So yeah, I just wanted to put that out there.”

We’ve reached out to Tietz via TikTok direct message for comment on how the situation unfolded and Taylor’s via phone call for more information.
