Merseyside’s last remaining Wimpy restaurant is officially delivering its famous comfort food.
Wimpy in Birkenhead confirmed via Facebook it would be opening for takeaway and delivery only.
Fans can order from Wimpy now via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Dishes on the menu include the original Quarterpounder with Special Sauce, a fish finger burger and a veggie bean burger.
There’s also the Bender in a Bun - a round hotdog in a barm, with cheese, onion and ketchup.
The restaurant remains number one in Wirral according to TripAdvisor , and is tucked away inside the Grange & Pyramids shopping complex in Princes Pavement.
Wimpy has been based inside the shopping complex for more than 40 years, and while it has been renovated over the years, it’s still classic Wimpy and serving the old favourites we all remember.
