Manchester’s popular alpine themed winter wonderland is returning to the city this festive season, but this time there’s an extra-furry twist.
Bar Hütte is now open, moving from its previous location in Spinningfields to the Great Northern Square - but the venue change isn’t the only thing that is new this year.
New in 2021, Bark Hütte has been launched, a festive wonderland specifically for dogs and unlike their party lodges, the experience doesn’t need to be booked in advance.
The brand new doggy grotto has been kitted out with everything owners and their pets need to evoke some Christmas spirit, with plenty of free treats to go around.
In a post to their Instagram, organisers announced: “Paws up if you’re ready to get snap happy!
“New to Bar Hütte this year we’re launching a brand new doggy grotto. This un-fur-gettable experience has everything dog lovers need to get into the festive spirit.
“You’d have to be barking to miss it!”
The hut includes plenty of photo props and Santa hats so you can snap some festive pictures, as well as ‘pawsecco’ and free dog treats while you can mingle with other dog owners.
For humans, there are more lodges for hire, as well as a cosy terrace bar and indoor lodge where guests can enjoy a variety of drinks including mulled wine, festive cocktails and a selection of local beers.
The famous ‘Bombardino’ is also available to try - which is provided complimentary for all VIP lodge bookings - as well as oven-baked pizzas.
The organisers haven’t forgotten the much-loved karaoke sessions either, with each lodge coming complete with its very own machine primed with famous festive hits.
Bookings are open now, and due to the popularity of the venue, it is highly recommended you book any VIP lodges advance to avoid missing out. Each hutte costs £60 for exclusive use for 1 hour and 45 minutes, with complimentary Bombardinos and full use of the karaoke machine.
