Willow Smith had a surprise haircut fans were not prepared for during her most recent live performance.
The American singer held a Facebook concert on July 16 to celebrate her new album Lately I Feel Everything - which features Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend, Travis Barker, and Avril Lavigne.
Canadian hitmaker Avril features on Willow's song titled G R O W as well as Blink- 182 drummer Travis who also appears on other tracks Gaslight and Transparent Soul.
They both joined Willow for her album release livestream which also included Willow performing a punk-rock version of her 2010 pop song Whip My Hair.
And in the final moments of the performance Willow allowed her hair to be shaved off as a hairdresser stormed on stage with an electric razor.
The star debuted a bold buzz cut after the onstage do change and continued with her performance.
During a behind-the-scenes clip, People report that Willow said: “I’m thinking about shaving my head during the Whip My Hair performance.”

“This is gonna be my third time in my life shaving my head. I’m always shaving my head at monumental times in my life, when things are really changing. And this is definitely one of those moments.”
Willow first rose to fame after launching her music career with single Whip My Hair which reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for video of the year at the BET Awards of 2011.
She often features alongside her mum Jada Pinkett Smith on the series Red Table Talk.
In April, while on the show the 20-year-old came out as polyamorous but confessed she didn’t see herself having more than two parents.
The actress said: "I feel like the main foundation is the freedom to be able to create a relationship style that works for you and not just stepping into monogamy because that’s what everyone around you says is the right thing to do."
Despite her grandmother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris not reasoning with the choices Willow was making her actress mum was not shocked by the news, as the star revealed to fans she was bisexual and polyfidelitous on Facebook Watch.
“I love men and woman equally and so I would definitely want one man, one woman,” she said.
She also added: “ I feel like I could be polyfidelitous with those two people. I'm not the kind of person that is constantly looking for new sexual experiences.
"I focus a lot on the emotional connection and I feel like if I were to find two people of the different genders that I really connected with and we had a romantic and sexual connection, I don't feel like I would feel the need to try to go find more."
