Will the Principality Stadium roof be open for Pink's gig in Cardiff?

She's known for her high energy songs and breathtaking acrobatics during her live shows.

So fans of Pink, who'll be flocking to see their idol perform on stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Thursday, June 20 will no doubt be keen for nigh on perfect conditions come show time.

However, given how much of a meteorologically mixed bag June's been so far, it's unlikely the weather can be counted on to ensure a rain free evening.

Which can mean only one thing - it all comes down to whether the stadium roof with be open or shut for the gig.

It's the question that's on the lips of everyone attending an event at the venue these days, from major international rugby matches to top pop concerts.

It's certainly been a hot topic since the much hyped Spice Girls reunion gig at the ground in May, when the decision to keep the roof open saw  both the band and their followers receive a mid-set soaking

However,  we can now finally reveal the answer - it will be CLOSED for Pink's show.

Ironically though, the weather for the Welsh leg of 39-year-old's Beautiful Trauma world tour looks set to be fine anyway.

According to BBC Weather, Cardiff will see some light cloud and a moderate breeze for most of the day, with the chance of some sunny intervals from about 6pm.

There will only be a nine per cent chance of rain.

It's going to be another busy one for the city centre though - which has just hosted concerts by Spice Girls,   Take That   and Elton John - with   in place by the time the doors open at 5.30pm.

There are limited tickets left for the Cardiff concert - visit Ticketmaster for more information and prices.
