Will it rain in Dublin on Halloween night? Here's Met Eireann's latest update

Dublin is gearing up for a fun-filled night tomorrow as trick or treaters get ready to show off their costumes for Halloween.

There will be a host of fun-filled events across the capital tomorrow night and with so much outdoor entertainment, fingers are crossed for a dry evening.

But it looks like those prayers won't be answered as Met Eireann have issued their latest weather update and it's not looking good.

Tomorrow will be a mostly cloudy day with scattered outbreaks of light rain during the afternoon but also some good dry spells also with some sun.

Winds will become moderate south to southeast with highest temperatures of 12 to 13C.

Unfortunately, that rainfall looks set to become widespread come nightfall meaning this Halloween could be a bit of a washout.

It may be an idea to get the trick or treating done early before settling down at home in front of a few scary movies.
