Silk Sonic has won the Grammy for Record of the Year as well as the Song of the Year award for the ever-smooth Leave The Door Open.

The charismatic duo of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars were celebrating before their final acceptance speech — Mars even lit a cigarette on stage, which caused a small stir among fans (but hey, no-one got slapped).

"We are really trying our hardest to remain humble at this point … but in the industry we call that a clean sweep," .Paak said while accepting the Grammy for Record of the Year.

"To all the other nominees, y'all know we love y'all. Drinks on Silk Sonic tonight. We getting drunk."

Seven-time nominee Olivia Rodrigo was named Best New Artist, with the 19-year-old taking home three Grammys thanks to her hugely popular album Sour.

Jon Batiste rounded out the night by claiming Album of the Year for We Are. He also won Best Music Video, Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Performance from his 11 nominations.

"There is no best musician, best artist, best dancer, best actor. The creative arts are subjective, and they reach people at a point in their lives when they need it most," Batiste said in his acceptance speech.

The Foo Fighters won all three Grammys they were nominated for, just days after the sudden death of drummer Taylor HawkinsBest Rock Album for Medicine At Midnight, Best Rock Song for Waiting On A War and Best Rock Performance for Making A Fire.
