Wilfried Zaha will miss Crystal Palace’s FA Cup clash against Doncaster after his appeal was dismissed.

Zaha was charged with improper conduct by the FA last week, which resulted in him being fined £10,000 and being given an additional one-game ban.

The forward received the punishment following his dismissal against Southampton on January 30 after he was shown a second yellow for sarcastically applauding referee Andre Marriner.

Palace appealed the additional one-match ban which has now been dismissed.

"Wilfried Zaha will be suspended for Crystal Palace’s game against Doncaster Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday [17 February 2019]," a statement from the FA read.

"The forward accepted a charge of improper conduct, which followed his behaviour after a second-half dismissal during the Premier League game against Southampton on 30 January 2019, but subsequently appealed against a one match suspension and £10,000 fine.

"The appeal was dismissed by an Independent Regulatory Commission today [15 February 2019]."
