Wilf family surpasses $5 million in donations to COVID-19 causes

After donating $1 million to United Way Worldwide, the Wilf family has now surpassed $5 million donations to COVID-19 related causes, the team announced Monday.

The owners of the Minnesota Vikings have also made donations to New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, RWJBarnabas Health, Jewish Federations of North America, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, Second Harvest Heartland and Minnesota Disaster Recovery Fund for Coronovirus.

“Our thoughts continue to be with everyone who has been impacted by this global crisis,” said Vikings owner/president Mark Wilf in a team release. “We are especially concerned for individuals who are battling the virus, those who are facing financial insecurity and the heroic healthcare workers and first responders who are at the forefront of dealing with this pandemic.”
