This Morning's Holly Willoughby was missing from Wednesday's show.
Phillip Schofield was joined by Alison Hammond, who stood in to replace Holly at the last minute.
Holly usually hosts the ITV show with Phillip Schofield Monday through to Thursday, the star also told Tuesday viewers she would be taking part in today's Guess the Gadget segment.
It meant many viewers were left perplexed by her absence. Taking to social media, one wrote: "Oh no, where's Holly?"
Another added: "This Morning, where's Holly?".
In opening scenes This Morning failed to give a reason but Alison explained on air: "I'm standing in for Holly who's having a well deserved day off today."
Alison and Phil then went on to decorate a huge Christmas tree outside the studio with a few large baubles.
