The popular YouTuber shared the news in a video called “I’m leaving the Sidemen,” which was uploaded on May 31. In the video, KSI said the decision was very difficult and came after months of thinking. He also made it clear that there was no argument or problem behind the scenes. According to him, leaving the group was a personal choice.
KSI has been one of the most well-known members of the Sidemen since the group's early days. Alongside Simon, Josh, Tobi, Ethan, Vik, and Harry, he helped turn the Sidemen into one of the biggest creator groups on YouTube. Because of this, many fans were surprised to hear that he had decided to step away from future Sidemen videos.
KSI says leaving the Sidemen is about finding a better balance in life
In his video, KSI explained that he has been extremely busy for many years. Apart from making videos on YouTube, he has also been associated with music, boxing, businesses, and more. He said that he used to feel like he was doing too much all at once and had never slowed down in life.
