Why is Katie Taylor's fight v Jennifer Han not on Sky Sports tonight?

Katie Taylor is back in action on Saturday night as she faces the stern test of Jennifer Han.

Taylor is on the undercard of Josh Warrington's rematch with Mauricio Lara in Leeds and close to 20,000 will be in attendance.

But tonight's fight will not be shown live on Sky Sports due to a recent deal made by Matchroom Boxing.

What is the new deal?

Matchroom boxing recently agreed a reported €115m deal that will see their fighters fight exclusively on streaming platform DAZN which also has the exclusive rights to show Mexican fighter Canelo Alvarez.

The boxing promotion headed by Eddie Hearn boats a number of fighters including Ireland's Katie Taylor.

So what does that mean for Katie Taylor?

It means from here on it, Taylor's fights will be shown on DAZN.

As a Matchroom boxer, Taylor was previously shown on Sky Sports during her professional career but the new deal means her bouts will migrate to the streaming platform.

How can I watch the fight?

Those looking to watch tonight's fight card can sign up to DAZN here.

The price for signing up to DAZN is €7.99 a month.
