A Who Wants To Be a Millionaire winner has explained her secret to securing the elusive £1million.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire : The Million Pound Question revisted the iconic win of Judith Keppel, the first UK millionaire from the world-famous game show.

Judith looked back at her memorable time in the hot seat with Chris Tarrant, taking us to step by step through her jaw-dropping journey up the question ladder.

She explained how her first five questions to £1000 in the year 2000 episode were 'easy', with things only getting heated when the £16,000 question was asked.

Judith was asked in which country Tony Blair was born - Scotland, Wales, England or Northern Ireland.

This is where the garden designer revealed her gameplan.

Judith explained that there is a strategy contestants should use when it comes to lifelines.

She said: "'Ask the audience' is for pop culture, '50/50' is for when you can't ask a friend and 'phone a friend' should only be used for specialist questions."

Judith also talked about life after Millionaire and how winning the jackpot changed her life.

This included her now 16-year stint on Eggheads.
