Who should win the Bafta audience award?

Bafta has unveiled the nominees for this year's audience award, which is voted for by the public. And it is, to say the least, an eclectic shortlist.

The vajazzled residents of The Only Way is Essex, ITV2's hit scripted reality show, will do battle with classy period drama Downton Abbey, and Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss's new take on Arthur Conan Doyle's detective, Sherlock.

Channel 4's enormous hit Big Fat Gypsy Weddings also gets a nomination, along with the much-lauded sitcom Miranda and BBC4's Danish whodunnit The Killing.

You can vote for your favourite show here until 20 May – previous winners of the award include The Inbetweeners and Skins.

So, let us know what you think of the shortlist – a disclaimer: I was part of the panel of journalists that wrangled it down to six – and, which show you'd like to run off with the trophy and why. Or indeed, which you'd like to stop at all costs. And don't forget to vote!
