England midfielder Missy Bo Kearns has shared the devastating news that she and her partner, Luton Town midfielder Liam Walsh, have lost their baby during pregnancy.
The Aston Villa star and Lioness, who only recently went public with the news that she was expecting, took to social media to express her "heavy heart" following the tragic loss.
She wrote: “With very heavy hearts, we want to share that we’ve lost our baby during pregnancy.
“The past weeks have been filled with a kind of sadness that is hard to explain, and we’re still trying to come to terms with it all.
“Right now, we’re focusing on recovering and supporting each other through this.
“We truly appreciate the love and support around us more than we can say.”

Who is Missy Bo Kearns?
Missy is a female football player who plays as a central midfielder for Aston Villa and England.
She was born on April 14 2001 in Liverpool and grew up as a massive Liverpool fan. She joined Liverpool’s youth academy at the age of 8 after being scouted as the only girl playing in the local grassroots team Mossley Hill, alongside future Liverpool player Curtis Jones.
With Liverpool, she was a Championship winner and has twice been awarded Women's Player of the Season. Kearns previously represented England at under-17, under-19 and under-23 levels, before then signing for Villa in 2024 - where she plays now.
Who is she dating?
She is dating Liam Walsh who plays as a midfielder for EFL League One club Luton Town. He started his career at Everton, and also spent time on loan at Yeovil Town, for whom he made his Football League debut, and at Birmingham City and Coventry City. The pair have been together for a number of years and this was their first child together.
