Who is Mark McMullan on Britain's Got Talent? Singer wows judges with emotional performance

There are more Britain's Got Talent auditions for us to enjoy on Saturday night and among the acts aiming to impress this week is Mark McMullan.

So far this series we've seen Ant & Dec and all of the judges apart from Amanda Holden hit their Golden Buzzers and there are a whole host of acts lining up aiming to get her to hit hers.

Saturday night's show on ITV will see a wide variety of acts take to the stage, including Britain's Got Talent's Jay Rawlings attempts to break world record for balancing chairs on his chin

Another hopeful stepping into the Britain's Got Talent  spotlight is Mark McMullan who we'll see perform Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.

And it's a song that means a lot to him and his family.

Mark reveals that he is singing for his older brother who took ill from a brain injury and has been left with 'locked in syndrome'.

Mark explains "He's trapped inside his own body and the only thing he can do is hear. My music became a real comfort for him.

"Half of me is here from me and to pursue my music and the other half is to do them proud."

Who is Mark McMullan on BGT?

Mark, bottom right in BGT's tweet, is 23 years old and comes from Northern Ireland.

He says that he tried out for Britain's Got Talent this year because "everything lined up for him."

If you head to You Tube you will see that Mark has performed Bring Him Home before on Ireland's Late, Late, Late Show in 2015, with his family watching on in the audience.

And there was a dream moment for all the family in 2016 when Alfie Boe dedicated the song to Mark's family during a performance.
