PGA Tour star Cameron Young has emerged as one of the brightest talents around in recent years.
He was named PGA Tour Rookie of the Year for the 2021/22 season and has since become an established member of the circuit, reflected in a career-high world ranking of 13th.
However, it's not just on the course where the American is settled, with him marrying partner Kelsey Dalition in 2021 when he was 23 in a private ceremony shortly after turning pro, with former caddie Scott McKean his best man.
The pair began dating after his stint at Wake Forest, but they had known each other most of their lives.
As Young explained in an interview with The Journal News, which was later cited by Golfweek, Kelsey is not a big golf fan, and that’s exactly what he appreciates in their marriage.
He said: "I played hockey for her dad and with her brother. They’re not a golf family at all so Kelsey is kind of still learning the ropes. It’s actually great for me, because the last thing I want to do when I get home is answer questions like, ‘Why’d you pull a 9-iron on 16?’ That would make my head explode, so that’s been a blessing.”
The privacy of the pair's wedding is an indication of how they conduct their personal lives, with the couple preferring to keep their relationship largely out of the spotlight.

Nevertheless, Kelsey has accompanied her husband at events, including The Masters Par-3 Contest, while she was also with him during a practice round for the 2025 Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, along with their children.
When their eldest child, Henry, was born a year after their marriage, the couple had yet to settle into their own home. He told Golf Digest: "We've been living with our parents the whole time. Spent a lot of time with my family, my wife. We have a little baby, so spent a lot of family time, which has been great."
However, once the prize money began accumulating thanks to Young's success, they could afford a place of their own, eventually buying a property in Jupiter, Florida.
Even before that, though, Kelsey, with baby in tow, was there to support Cameron as he continued his rise in the game.
He added: "Honestly, they've been out with me the last couple weeks and it's been such a nice change of pace to be with them on the road. I think it just keeps you a little fresher. You get off the course and you can kind of forget about golf a little bit, which is really nice."
While Cameron's life away from the course appears idyllic, on it, there had been one thing missing - a maiden win on the PGA Tour.

That finally changed at the 2025 Wyndham Championship, where he took control of proceedings to win by six.
With Young taking his career to the next level, one thing is for sure - Kelsey will be with him all the way to offer her support.
