Who Dares Wins star says Ant Middleton replacements bring 'next level brutality'

SAS: Who Dares Wins star Jason Fox has warned fans the new series will be 'brutal' when it returns next year with a new Directing Staff team.

Channel 4 have revealed hardman Ant Middleton's replacement as Former United States Recon Marine, Rudy Reyes as the new Chief Instructor on the show.

Another new addition to the DS team will be former US Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke.

Taking to Twitter, the former special forces sergeant, aka Foxy, uploaded a pic of the new team in the desert, looking stoically at the camera - all wearing black.

He captioned the post: "Having worked closely with our US brothers in the past it’s great to be back with them delivering next level brutality on this new selection course in the most savage of environments.

"Definitely the spiciest one yet... In the words of our American brethren Hoorarrr!"

Foxy's post went down a storm with his fans with one particularly excited posting: "That photo looks like a Chippendale calendar promo shot and there is nothing wrong with that."

Rudy and Remi will be joining Foxy and Billy (Mark Billingham) on the show, which will be filmed in a newly created, secret, SAS military base in a most spectacular but harsh terrain in Jordan.

Speaking on his new role head of filming, Rudy said: “To be part of SAS: Who Dares Wins - the hardest selection course on television - is one the greatest privileges of my life.

"And to be named Chief Instructor is a huge honour - made even more rewarding working alongside Billy, Foxy and Remi - heroes on and off screen.”

In March, it was revealed that Ant was being axed from the show.

The show producers said the former soldier's personal conduct was the sole reason for him leaving the show.

In a statement released to the Mirror, a Channel 4 Spokesman said: “Our decision not to renew Ant Middleton’s contract and not to work with him again was solely based on his personal conduct off-camera and is not related to his on-screen persona as a DS."
