Who are the England WAGS? Meet the glam set ahead of the World Cup 2026

The 2026 World Cup heralds a new dawn for WAG culture - a fresh gang of wives and girlfriends supporting the England squad.

Worlds away from the Victoria Beckham, Coleen Rooney and Cheryl set of 20 years ago, the new glam pack are less likely to be splashed across the tabloids with their hedonistic antics and more likely to be sharing outfit deets with their millions of followers.

The Three Lions will be cheered on by their other halves at the summer tournament in North America, with models, influencers and childhood sweethearts among them.

From Harry Kane’s childhood love to Bukayo Saka’s social media star partner, get ready to meet the girls flying out to support the squad.

Captain Kane, 32, will be supported by his wife, Katie Goodland, who he has known since his school days.

“We went to school together, so she’s seen my whole career. Of course, she’s finding it a little crazy. I think she’s even been in the papers a couple of times, taking the dogs out,” he previously said.

They got engaged in 2017 and married in June 2019. He shares four children with the fitness instructor - Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry.

Right winger Saka is loved up with influencer Tolami Benson, having proposed to her in November after five years of dating.

A source said he had gone “all out for the proposal” at a swanky London hotel and the ring he’d chosen was “absolutely enormous”.

“It was incredibly special,” the source added, saying Benson was “totally blown away”.

Benson works as a senior planning executive but also promotes brand partnerships with her 200,000 followers on Instagram, including a recent River Island collaboration.

Another influencer WAG is Ashlyn Castro, the stunning girlfriend of Jude Bellingham.

The Los Angeles-born model, 28, has been dating Real Madrid star Bellingham since 2024 and he introduced her to his parents in early 2025.

Castro, who has more than 600,000 followers on Instagram, is no stranger to famous partners, having been linked to Michael B Jordan and dated basketballer Terance Mann.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is back on with his fiancee Lucia Loi, having rekindled their romance last year - two years after splitting.

The pair - who began dating aged 15 - had gotten engaged in 2022.

The teenage sweethearts reunited in 2025 and have been spending plenty of time together in Spain after Rashford moved to Barcelona on loan from Manchester United.

Jordan Henderson is married to Rebecca Burnett, having tied the knot in 2017.

Burnett, who keeps a low profile when she’s not supporting her husband on the pitch, is thought to have met the footballer in their teens when Henderson was at Sunderland.

They have three children - Alexa, Alba and Myles.

When Burnett was giving birth to Alba, Henderson rushed to her side - before heading back to Wembley to play in a cup semifinal.

Continuing the childhood sweetheart theme is midfielder Eberechi Eze, who is married to Izuthe Mulatto.

The pair met when they were 15 in south-east London and have been together for more than six years, having gone public with their romance in 2019.

Mulatto, a nurse who studied at King’s College London, prefers to stay out of the limelight and has deleted her social media accounts.

British Vogue did, however, feature the couple’s extravagant wedding, which included a church service and a traditional Nigerian ceremony.

Declan Rice is married to Lauren Fryer, having been in a relationship with her for almost a decade.

The Arsenal defensive midfielder started dating her in high school while growing up in Kingston-upon-Thames.

He defended the “love of his life” on social media after she faced brutal body-shaming and abusive comments online.

Rice - who has a son, Jude, with Fryer - said: “My wife is the love of my life, and there is no one better for me.”

Jordan Pickford also married his childhood sweetheart Megan Davison, who he met in secondary school.

They are parents to three children - Arlo, Ostara and Misty.

The goalkeeper, 32, tied the knot with the influencer, 30, in a stunning Maldives beach ceremony in 2020.

Davison, who often shares photos of their lavish home life and travels on social media, celebrated their 15th anniversary in January.

“15 years with my soulmate @jpickford1 so many chapters, growing with you has been my favourite,” she penned.
