It serves up award winning Turkish cuisine and has had a starring role in Vera and now Turknaz is branching out by opening a pizza restaurant.
The Whitley Bay restaurant is massively popular with both locals and visitors to the area - nd now just the vast and crew of Vera! - and earlier this year it won Best Restaurant in the North East at the British Kebab Awards, which are seen as the Oscars of the kebab world.
And soon it won't be just critically acclaimed Turkish food you can get from its owners as they are moving to new territory to open their first pizza restaurant in Seaton Delaval.
Work is currently well underway to transform the premises on Astley Road in time for the grand opening.
Once opened, Pizzanaz will be offering a delivery and collection service and various different types of grill food will also be available on the menu to order online or by calling the restaurant directly.
Building work is set to be completed within 8 weeks, meaning Pizzanaz will open in time for summer.
Owner Anthony Yilmaz told Chronicle Live "The excitement around this has been huge from locals.
"We want to bring a home friendly delivery service to all of our local customers.
"Deliveries will have around a two - three mile radius at first and then in the future could increase.
"It’s a huge project as the premises was very dated, it was Delaval fish bar for years and needed a lot of finance to get it up-to the standard we wanted.
"I feel excited for our new venture and look forward to meeting lots of new customers, we look forward to giving our customers our special service and delicious food!"
Pizzanaz will also offer an alcohol delivery service in complimentary to food.
