For the German-Iranian streamer who is still currently known by his username “The White Tiger,” his livestream consisted of 204 criminal charges, including murder and sexual abuse. Now, it seems he might finally be facing a semblance of justice for all the carnage he has caused.
Every time DDG has a new controversy or iShowSpeed goes to a new town — thousands tune in to watch it live, and millions more catch up later through clips. The influence of these content creators is at an all-time high. There’s a reason why Mr. Beast has such an outrageous net worth.
But there will always be a dark side to anything positive. It truly depends on who does what with their influence. And parents know that as soon as you stop monitoring your child for a second, that’s when all hell breaks loose. A 21-year-old man from Hamburg is now being accused of being said hell — and then some.
As previously mentioned, he runs a virtual network of abusers that goes by the name 764. In 2022, he’s accused of coercing a 13-year-old boy from the US into killing himself. He also used these manipulation tactics on similarly vulnerable audience members aged between 11 and 15, leading to online sexual abuse and exploitation.
According to The Guardian, this racket started somewhere around 2021. The White Tiger would seek young boys on chats and games who he could groom and develop a bond with. He would then use the trust he gained from these young boys to convince them to produce sexual or violent graphic content.
Alongside a murder charge, The White Tiger is also being charged with five other attempted murder charges. He was finally arrested in his parents’ home in June and is awaiting his court dates. Currently, the Hamburg police are in possession of a 40-page document that includes evidence of The White Tiger convincing various young children to self-harm.
The Hamburg police had slowly been building a case against The White Tiger, but when they finally arrested him, he was reportedly in possession of weapons such as knives, batons, and brass knuckles. There were also hard drives found that the police have yet to disclose the contents of.
The White Tiger is accused of having victims across the world — not just in Europe and North America but in every other English-speaking nation where he could find vulnerable young children. The Hamburg police have yet to release his real identity. They’ve also decided to ensure there’s no distraction by conducting the entire court case behind closed doors.
This story is horrific. It just goes to show that there are very dangerous people on the internet. And just like generations before taught kids not to get into white vans with strangers offering candy, the lesson now should be tweaked a little — kids need to be taught not to do something just because a stranger with a lot of followers says they should.
