A Dublin cafe had an unusual visitor today when a small bird was spotted on top of their food bus.
The White Moose Cafe staff spotted the little budgie on top of their truck at the Swords Pavillions Shopping Centre.
The sociable budgie then flew over and landed in the lap of a customer.
The hardworking team managed to catch the bird and gave it its own place in their establishment.
The budgie's temporary Swords home has a little cardboard box with holes, a water container, and a little bowl of nuts.
The owner of the popular cafe, Paul Stenson, posted on Facebook about their unexpected arrival, and he appealed for the budgie's owner to get in touch.
Paul said: "ARE YOU MISSING YOUR BUDGIE?
"Today we had an unexpected visitor in #TheMooseBus at Swords Pavillions Shopping Centre.
"This lovely little budgie was spotted on top of the Moose Bus.
"It then made its way over to the lap of a customer.
"The team eventually managed to catch it and they made a little home for it in a cardboard box with loads of holes for air, a little container of water and a little bowl of nuts so it doesn't go hungry.
"It's possible that someone is missing their little pet today, so if this budgie belongs to you, please message us here on Facebook or call the Moose Bus on 083 010 1074."
