The video's release followed Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon acknowledging that aspects of Trump and Barack Obama inspired his new spin-off character, President Curtis.
The White House's video drew criticism from figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene and liberal commentator Harry Sisson, who questioned its relevance amid economic concerns.
Separately, Trump engaged in an "eccentric posting spree" on Truth Social, sharing AI memes and provocative images, including hints at a potential 2028 presidential run.
