The FIFA World Cup 2026 is set to begin with host nation Mexico facing South Africa on June 12, as fans across the globe prepare for one of the most anticipated tournaments in football history.
The 23rd edition of the men’s FIFA World Cup will be the biggest ever, featuring a record-breaking expansion to 48 teams. This change will result in 104 matches played across 16 host cities spread across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
