We all know the best thing about Christmas is the films, and here in Glasgow there’s an array of venues hosting the classics for the festive period.
While we can all enjoy them tucked up at home, there’s nothing quite like escaping from all the December madness for a cinema experience. Some spots, like The Briggait, are even hosting free screening nights.

Glasgow Science Centre
The perfect place to enjoy a festive film - for just a fiver.
You can head along to the Glasgow Science Centre for the next two weekends to catch Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas or The Muppet Christmas Carol. Enjoy the centres huge cinema screen and get cosy.

For this festive season, the Glasgow Film Theatre will be putting on a variety of films from The Polar Express and Elf, to Eyes Wide Shut or Die Hard.

Grosvenor Picture Theatre
Down at the Grosvenor, you can grab a Festive Meal Package for £40 - which includes a movie ticket, prosecco or soft drink, and a two course meal.

Inhouse Event CIC are hosting free Christmas films this year, to support a Glasgow community charities food drive.
