After months of speculation and waiting, Celebrity Traitors has begun in earnest, and along with an A-list edition engaged in castle skulduggery comes a renewed public obsession over host Claudia Winkleman's outfits.
Despite only two episodes being aired so far, chatter over Winkleman's ensembles is spreading fast on WhatsApp group chats and watercoolers far and wide.
The presenter, famous for her heavy eyeliner and bold fringe, has rolled out a series of elegant grunge looks that feel perfect for autumn and winter, alongside the Highlands setting in which the series is set.
As we've reported, in previous series of Traitors, stylist Sinead McKeefry has been the mastermind behind Winkleman's looks, opting for luxe labels such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Burberry and Bella Freud along with a flurry of high street brands. Capes, tall boots, chunky knits and form-fitting leggings made up most of Winkleman's uniform before.
But with the likes of Alan Carr, Stephen Fry and Paloma Faith in the Celebrity edition, Winkleman and McKeefry have had to up the sartorial ante to stand out from the star-strewn crowd. The brief has expanded from “gothica chic” to “punk-rock”.

Worn for Celebrity Traitors' very first episode, the military-style Chloé Herringbone Wool Jacket is now, predictably, sold out. But since it’s autumn, there are plenty of other tweed and military-inspired options that will cut the mustard. Ralph Lauren’s jacket is strikingly similar but low on sizes. Plus, it costs £745.

If there's one thing Winkleman is known for as the Traitors presenter, it is a cape. Hers comes from a brand called Luxury Family Affair, is crafted from boiled wool and costs the better part of a grand.
