'Where's Pulisic?' - Chelsea fans react to Frank Lampard's starting XI to face Everton

Chelsea fans have been reacting to Frank Lampard's starting XI to face Everton in the Premier League this evening.

The Blues are at Goodison Park this evening as they return to Premier League action following the Champions League draw with Krasnodar during the week.

Lampard 's men are looking to extend their 14-game unbeaten run across all competitions this evening and to climb into top spot, albeit perhaps temporarily with top two Liverpool and Spurs in action tomorrow.

Ahead of the Everton clash this evening, Lampard has named his starting XI and there is one notable absence - winger Christian Pulisic.

The highly-rated American was passed as fit ahead of the game following two muscular injuries which have kept him out for a number of games this season.

Pulisic has only featured in five Premier League games to date and he started last weekend's win over Leeds United, but he hasn't even made the bench this evening, perhaps pointing to an injury.

Elsewhere, Olivier Giroud starts the second consecutive league game following his goal against Leeds last weekend and the four goals against Sevilla in the game previous.

Timo Werner and Kai Havertz make up the front three with the latter the only player who kept his place in a much-changed XI to face Krasnodar in the week.

Chelsea fans have been reacting to the starting XI on Twitter.

Here is what they have had to say.

The other changes from the draw with Krasnodar include Edouard Mendy's return in goal, replacing Kepa Arrizabalaga, as expected.

Reece James, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell make up the defence, while Matteo Kovacic, N'Golo Kante and Mason Mount will play in midfield, behind the aforementioned, Werner, Havertz and Giroud.

Ahead of tonight's game, Chelsea are two points behind leaders Liverpool and Tottenham in third, while Everton are five points behind in 10th following two games without a win.
