Iconsiam invites kids to have fun with many activities during "The Iconic Children's Playground 2023" until Sunday.

Held in collaboration with Playmobil, a high-quality line of toys from Germany, the festival features a collection of more than 50 giant Playmobil figures in different career outfits to inspire children.

A highlight is Thailand's first and largest Playmobil figure assembling contest, at Charoennakorn Hall, M floor. The contest is open to children and adults who spend at least 200 baht at participating shops within Iconsiam as well as Siam Takashimaya.

They are free to use their imagination to create new toys under the theme "Your Own Figures". The competition expects to attract 6,400 participants to build 12,800 figures.

The event also unveils Wiltopia, a special collection of environmentally-friendly figures made from post-consumer recycled plastic. Children will learn about sustainable environmental conservation through various activities and discover the amazing life of animals, nature and the environment through AR technology.

At Rassada Hall, 1st floor, the National Science Museum Thailand presents creative science activities such as making tube and balloon rockets, paper aeroplanes and gliders.

Meanwhile, "Kids Sanook Sooksiam" features toys and snacks of yesteryear, a cartoon parade, a magic show, fun games with prizes and DIY workshops, at Lan Muang 2, ground floor, until Sunday.

There will also be four children's musical plays -- Three Little Pigs and Pinocchio on Saturday, and The Giant Turnip and Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs on Sunday, at 2pm and 5pm respectively on both days.

Another attraction is "Let's Play Bouncing", an outdoor inflatable playground featuring four giant bouncers plus bumper cars and paddle boats. The site is open at River Park until Jan 17 and again from Jan 25 to Feb 9. Admission is 250 baht per child and 100 baht per adult.
