The detective period TV series Father Brown has been running for nine series with the first being broadcasted in 2013.

The show is the second longest-running daytime drama series broadcast on BBC TV apart from soap operas.

The series stars Mark Williams as the crime-solving Roman Catholic priest and has many filming locations.

The series itself is based on the GK Chesterton short stories which feature a character of the same name.

The show is set in the fictional village of Kembleford, located in Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds.

A polish refugee camp is located near the fictional village and the area also has strong agricultural roots with farms spotted throughout the series.

The series is set in various locations including in Blockley. The show is also filmed in the Midlands too, specifically in the Worcestershire city Worcester.

Filming locations also span to upper Slaughter, Winchcombe railway station, and Evesham.

Reruns of series 8 are currently being aired on BBC One at 2.15 pm every day.
