When The Apprentice 2022 returns, why Claude Littner won't feature and who is replacing him

If you've been looking forward to Lord Sugar returning to your TV screens as well as his iconic (and dreaded) catchphrase, then you're in luck.

The BBC reality TV show is set to return soon - and you don't have long to wait.

The series will return to the BBC next month for its 16th season.

You'd be correct in thinking that it was originally meant to be aired in July 2021 however due to covid, it was pushed back.

There will be a few noticeable changes when the series returns - with the biggest one being that advisor Claude Littner will not be there.

So what do we know about The Apprentice so far?

What date and time will The Apprentice 2022 start?

The Apprentice will return on January 6, 2022 at 9pm.

What channel will The Apprentice 2022 air on?

As always, it will air on BBC One and if you miss it, you can watch it on BBC iPlayer.

Why isn't Claude Littner returning for The Apprentice 2022?

This year, just like previous years, there will be two aides with Lord Sugar being the main man.

Whilst Karen Brady will make a return this year, Claude Littner won't be - this is because Claude has had to take a "one series break".

Explaining the reason for his departure on Twitter, the BBC reality series added: "Claude, who has been involved in The Apprentice since the very first series, is taking some time off to recuperate following an operation earlier in the year."

But with Lord Sugar's most trusted advisor Littner taking a step back, who will replace him?

Who is replacing Claude Littner on The Apprentice 2022?

Former contestant and first winner of the BBC's The Apprentice's, Tim Campbell, will be taking his place.

Taking to Twitter, the show announced the news on July 8 of this year - and fans are excited to see him back.
