Everton and Liverpool's Premier League season may kick off this weekend, but the Merseyside clubs still have plenty of time to wrap up any late summer business before the window closes.
The transfer window will slam shut on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11pm BST, a little over two weeks into the new league campaign.
La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga clubs also have until August 31 to finalise any last minute deals.
Everton have been the busier of the two clubs this summer with a new era under Rafa Benitez set to begin at Goodison Park against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Free agents Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend joined the club, whilst Demarai Gray signed a three year deal from Bayer Leverkusen last month.
Moise Kean and James Rodriguez remain the topic of transfer speculation, whilst rumours of incomings continue to surface, with Harry Winks the latest player to be linked with a move to Everton.

Liverpool 's biggest and most important bit of business was wrapped up before the transfer window even opened as the Reds confirmed the signing of Ibrahima Konate from Red Bull Leipzig back in May.
Since then, it's been quiet on the incoming front with contact extensions the priority, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Alisson have all penned new long-term deals in recent weeks.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken on any potential activity in a recent interview with Norwegian channel TV2, saying: “It is summer and the transfer window is open, then everyone expects some player signings. We will see what happens.
"If you want to buy such players, you have to spend a lot of money. We do not have to do that, because the players are already here.
“You have to make changes from time to time, but then there must be room to do it. We do not want more players."
It may be more likely the club sees players depart, as opposed to new faces, with Xherdan Shaqiri edging closer to a move away with French club Lyon eager to sign the Swiss international.
Ben Davies and Nat Phillips have also been tipped to depart Anfield this summer, with the latter absent from both of Liverpool's matchday squads for their final two pre-season friendlies over the weekend as well as training this week.
After Georginio Wijnaldum left the club to join Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the window, plenty of supporters are hopeful the Reds will bring in midfield reinforcements with Saul Niguez and Renato Sanches among the names linked with a move to Liverpool.
It seems contract extensions for the squad remain a priority, though, as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson are the first team players with contracts expiring in 2023.
League action may resume this weekend, but both managers will be keeping a stern eye on the transfer market as time is ticking for new additions to be brought in.
