2022 is the year of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 70 years on the throne.
Her Majesty took over from her father George VI in 1952 after his death, and she reached the 70-year mark on February 6 this year.
Queen Elizabeth II is the country's longest-ever serving monarch and overtook the previous record holder, Queen Victoria, in 2015.
The Platinum Jubilee will mark the first time a British monarch has reached this milestone and it also makes her the fourth longest-serving monarch of all time, behind French King Louis XIV, who ruled for 72 years and 110 days between 1642 and 1715.
There will be a whole range of celebrations across the UK to mark the events and Prince Harry's aides are said to be drawing up plans for him to return to the UK for the celebrations.

The Queen's reign began on February 6, 1952, after George VI died at the age of just 56 due to illnesses including lung cancer.
However, the official jubilee celebrations will mark the day of her coronation, which took place in June at Westminster Abbey a year later.
A four-day bank holiday will be in place from Thursday June 2 until Sunday June 5 to mark the event and includes an additional bank holiday on June 3.
For June 2, the government said: "More than 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will come together in the traditional Parade to mark The Queen’s official birthday."
The Palace said: "Throughout the year, Her Majesty and members of the Royal Family will travel around the country to undertake a variety of engagements to mark this historic occasion culminating with the focal point of the Platinum Jubilee Weekend in June."
What will happen during the Jubilee weekend?
Beacons will be lit across the British Isles from June 2 and on the same day, the Queen's birthday parade, known as Trooping the Colour, will take place at Horse Guard's Parade.
June 3 sees a service of Thanksgiving held at St Paul's Cathedral, followed by a Platinum Party At The Palace on Saturday, June 4. The party will have some of entertainment's biggest stars.
Street parties and lunches will be scheduled on the final day of celebrations on June 5.

It is not yet known how much the Queen will be involved in the celebrations due to recent fears over her health.
Other official celebrations include:
- From May 12 to 15 at Windsor Castle, more than 500 horses and 1,000 performers are expected to take part in a show in the grounds, showcasing the history of the monarchy since Elizabeth I.
- Silk flags known as a 'River of Hope' will be held by performers, key workers and military personnel along the Mall.
- Schoolchildren have been invited to create a picture of their hopes for the next 70 years.
Displays marking the Queen's accession to the throne, the Coronation and Jubilees put on at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
