When is Sunderland vs Heerenveen, what time is kick-off and is it on TV?

Sunderland will take in their final pre-season friendly when they welcome Heerenveen to the Stadium of Light.

Jack Ross' side have endured mixed fortunes so far this summer. After kicking off pre-season with a 2-0 win at South Shields, the Black Cats failed to win in either of their two games on their tour of Portugal.

A 0-0 draw against Benfica B was followed by a 1-0 defeat to Belenenses and their lack of goals this summer has been a concern.

They now welcome Heerenveen to Wearside. The Dutch outfit finished 11th in the Eredivisie last season and they too kick off their 2019/20 campaign next weekend.

It should provided Sunderland with the perfect test ahead of next weekend's League One opener against Oxford.
