Spain will bask in the glory of their second-ever World Cup title as they take to the streets of Madrid to celebrate with an open-top bus parade.
Luis de la Fuente’s side return to their homeland as national heroes after beating Argentina 1-0 in the final, with Ferran Torres writing himself into Spanish folklore with his extra-time winner.
La Roja also swept up the individual awards on a famous afternoon in New Jersey, with captain Rodri beating the likes of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe to the Golden Ball, while Pau Cubarsi was named young player of the tournament and Unai Simon took home the Golden Glove.
Crowds packed Madrid's Puerta de Sol and other major squares as they celebrated into the early hours of Monday morning, and that will only continue after the team land back in Spain - with supporters already securing their spots in Cibeles Square for the parade as they brave the baking sun.

When is Spain’s trophy parade?
Spain’s open-top bus parade will begin at 7pm local time (6pm BST) after the players return to home soil, with their plane due to land at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport at around 2:30pm on Monday.
The parade will follow a period of downtime for the players, coaching staff and federation officials, who will be taken straight to a secure location for lunch before the celebrations.
Royal and political appointments
Luis de la Fuente and his side will get a royal welcome before taking to the streets of Madrid.
The team’s first official stop will be at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela, where they will be greeted by King Felipe VI and the royal family to formally congratulate the newly-crowned world champions.
They will then e taken to Moncloa Palace, the residence of Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez, who will similarly give his plaudits to the team in an official government reception.
What is the parade route?
Spain will begin their open-top bus parade at the Moncloa transport interchange before proceeding down the historic Calle de la Princesa, before turning onto the Calle de Alberto Aguilera.
They will continue along the longest straight of the route, passing through Calle de Carranza, Calle de Sagasta, Calle de Genova, Calle de Genova and Calle de Goya, which will see the bus go by some of Madrid’s most emblematic locations such as the Monument to Christopher Colombus.
Then comes the finale, with the bus making a right onto Calle de Serrano and continuing past the Puerta de Alcala before turning onto Calle de Montalban. There, it will drive past the Cibeles Palace, where the main event of the celebrations will take place.
Surprise musical performances will compliment the presentation of the world champions, with a festival-style main stage set up for the Spanish fans who are expected to come out in their hundreds of thousands.
