When is the Carabao Cup third round draw? Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal enter competition

The Carabao Cup is set to heat up as the Premier League’s top clubs enter the competition for the third-round draw.

Manchester City , Liverpool , Tottenham , Arsenal , Manchester United and Wolves will all discover their opponents.

City will be looking to retain the trophy they have won in the last two seasons, having defeated Chelsea on penalties at Wembley last season and Arsenal 3-0 the year before.

The seven clubs were all absent from the second-round draw due to securing places in Europe’s top competitions but will now enter the fray as they bid for cup glory.

The second round got underway on Tuesday night and perhaps the biggest shock occurred at Selhurst Park, where Colchester reached the third round for the first time in 15 years after beating Premier League Crystal Palace on penalties.

Elsewhere, Norwich were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by League Two Crawley as Bez Lubala's deflected first-half strike was enough to secure a 1-0 win for Town.
