There were no new deaths recorded, meaning the death toll remains at 9,478 but the Scottish Government noted registry offices are generally closed at weekends.
The daily test positivity rate was 11.4%, up from 9.7% the previous day, but the officials noted: "Due to a network outage, Public Health Scotland have not received NHS lab data from one site since Saturday November 20."
There were 750 people in hospital on Sunday with recently confirmed Covid-19, down 27 in 24 hours, and 59 in intensive care, up one.
What is she likely to discuss?
Nicola Sturgeon is expected to set out a further expansion of vaccine passports in Scotland.
The Covid ID card scheme - vaccine passports - came into effect in October and currently encourages nightclubs and large venues to only allow entry to people who can show they have been double jabbed.
It is expected Ms Sturgeon will further extend the scheme to more venues including theatres, cinemas and other hospitality venues.
Any changes to current covid restrictions are said to come into force from December 8 onwards.
Ahead of Tuesday's announcement, a Scottish Government spokesperson said: "The situation around the pandemic is serious so we are being open about all of the options available to us that may be required to protect the public."
Where can I watch it?
The briefing will be broadcast live from around 2pm on the Scottish Government Twitter page or on BBC Scotland.
