When and what time BBC Two will show Liam Gallagher documentary 'As It Was'

Music fans are in for a treat on Sunday night when BBC Two airs a new documentary about Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

'As It Was' is a one hour and 23 minute 'no holds barred' look at the life of Liam, who rocketed to fame in the early 1990s as Oasis' lead singer. Liam sang for Oasis for 18 years, before the group broke up, after one of many feuds between Liam and his older brother Noel, the band's principle songwriter, guitarist and co-vocalist.

Since then, Liam found mixed success with Beady Eye, before a solo career propelled him back to the top, having sold out arenas around the world and scored two number one albums, 2017's As You Were and this year's Why Me? Why Not.

The BBC says: "The honest and emotional story of how one of the most electrifying rock ’n' roll frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his Champagne Supernova years in Oasis to a life of notoriety and bitter legal battles.

"Starting again alone, Liam risks everything to make the greatest rock ’n’ roll comeback of all time.

"Directors Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald invite us backstage for a no-holds-barred look at the life of one of the most talked-about and charismatic artists of his generation."

As It Was will be shown on BBC Two at 10.15 pm on Sunday night.

The documentary will also be available on iPlayer.
