When Amazon Prime Day 2023 sale could start and what deals to expect

It's almost that time of year for bargain hunters to get excited as we are that bit closer to the epic Amazon Prime Day 2023.

First launched in 2015, the two-day sales bonanza has fast become one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year, as it features a range of deals across a wide selection of products.

While we don't know much about this year's Prime Day event just yet, we do know that last year's sale took place on July 12 and 13, meaning it will likely possibly take place around the same time again.

So, if you have had your eye on new homeware, tech, electrical appliances, beauty and skincare products, then this might be on of those sales you want to keep an eye on.

If you missed out on any major deals that could be found in Amazon's spring sale, which took place in March, then Prime Day will provide you with another opportunity to snap up some bargains.

Before Prime Day 2023 officially arrives, we have some information on everything that you need to know, such as when it will drop and what to expect.

When is Prime Day 2023?

The official date for Amazon Prime Day 2023 has not yet been revealed, but does usually take place in the summer, with last year's kicking off at midnight July 12 and running until 11:59pm July 13.

It can be a difficult sale to predict, as its date has changed over the past few years. It was moved to June in 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic, but has since gone back to around mid-July, so we expect this to be the case once again this year.

What is Prime Day and what to expect?

Amazon Prime Day is a two-day sale bonanza that was first launched in 2015. It has since become an event that is marked in many bargain hunters calendars.

You do need to be a paying Prime member to participate in the hotly anticipated sales event. Those who sign up for a free trial can also participate and access exclusive deals.

The two-sale epic sale will usually see a range of price drops across a range of products from majoy brands, such as Apple, Samsung, Shark, Oral-B and much more. A range of Amazon's own products, such as Echo Speakers, Ring doorbells, and Kindles are also usually slashed in the sale.

How can you shop Amazon Prime Day 2023?

To shop one of the biggest sales of the year, you do need to be signed up, or register, as an Amazon Prime subscriber.

If you are a member, you can keep an eye on the Prime Day page on Amazon when it goes live for all the information and details you will need about this year's event.

If you aren't a member, you can sign up for an Amazon account online. You do get a 30 day free trial, but after that a Prime membership will cost you £8.99 per month, which comes to a total of £95 per year.
