'Whatever it takes' - Leeds United fans make Ben White transfer demand following Charlton win

Leeds fans have called on chairman Andrea Radrizzani to prioritise a permanent deal for defender Ben White during the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Elland Road from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion and has been a key part of Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion-winning team this season.

However, having impressed at Leeds, White’s parent club seem to be keen to keep a hold of the centre-back next season, in what would be a blow to Leeds ahead of their Premier League return.

The defender highlighted his importance to Leeds’ team in the last Championship game vs Charlton, scoring the Whites’ second goal vs Charlton.

White controlled the ball on his chest, before rifling a volley into the net to kick off Leeds’ celebrations in style.

That special moment prompted Leeds fans to take to social media to plead with the club to do everything possible to make sure he’s at Elland Road again next season.

Things got better for Leeds against the Addicks, with goals from Stuart Dallas, Tyler Roberts, and Jamie Shackleton giving them a 4-0 win on what will prove to be a memorable night.

After the game, the Whites will officially be crowned as Championship champions ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Leeds will be joined in the Premier League by West Bromwich Albion, who drew 2-2 with QPR on the final day.
