What we know so far about Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s new film

  • Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are set to star as an American couple travelling to Europe to adopt a baby, who encounter increasingly baffling obstacles at their hotel.
  • This project marks the seventh collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio, with filming scheduled to commence in January.
  • Scorsese, who was originally attached to produce, will now direct the psychological drama, which features a script by playwright Patrick Marber.
  • The decision to proceed with What Happens at Night means other potential projects, including adaptations of The Wager and The Life of Jesus, have been postponed.
