British No1 Emma Raducanu is back in action at the US Open today as she takes on qualifier Janice Tjen in the second round.
Raducanu earlier this week took just over an hour to brush aside Ena Shibahara in round one for what was her first win at Flushing Meadows since her stunning 2021 triumph.
Tjen is also catching the eye, with her victory over No24 seed Veronika Kudermetova one of the most surprising results of the tournament so far. The 23-year-old became the first Indonesian player for more than 20 years to win a grand slam singles match.
It was the latest milestone of an impressive first year on the professional tour for Tjen, who has won six tournaments and 59 matches, and has climbed from outside 400 in the rankings to the brink of the top 100.
What time is Raducanu playing?
Raducanu vs Tjen is scheduled as the first match inside the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Play is due to begin at 11am local time, which is 4pm BST.
The winner will play either No9 seed Elena Rybakina or Tereza Valentova in the third round.
