Barack Obama privately criticized Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to newly released diary entries by Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Obama reportedly called Donald Trump Jr. 'A f****** moron' and Donald Trump 'a hopeless idiot who was a pathologic liar,' apologizing for his crude language.
The criticism stemmed from Donald Trump Jr. selling merchandise with the slogan 'Fauci Kills Puppies,' referencing accusations about NIAID-funded research involving beagles.
Obama also expressed frustration to Fauci that moderate Republicans were not publicly defending him against what he viewed as slanderous accusations.
Fauci's diaries, spanning 2019 to 2022 and released by Senator Rand Paul, also detail his increasingly strained relationship with Donald Trump, whom he once described as an 'obnoxious adolescent'.
