What Liverpool fans noticed about Mohamed Salah's goal celebration in final

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in just the second minute in the Champions League final.

The Liverpool forward fired home from the penalty spot after the Reds were awarded a spot-kick for a Tottenham hand ball.

Sadio Mane broke into the box and chipped the ball onto Moussa Sissoko's arm, which was raised in an awkward position.

The referee pointed to the spot and the Premier League Golden Boot winner fired home with confidence.

After finding the back of the net, Salah wheeled away in delight with his Reds team-mates in hot pursuit.

He then put both of his index fingers over his nostrils while starring at the supporters packed inside the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Liverpool fans instantly took to social media to comment on the celebration, with many confused as to what Salah was gesturing.

One tweeted: "Did Salah just do Jesse Lingard’s nose thing as a celebration?" while another added: "Which teenager did Salah learn that celebration from?"

A third said: "That will do nicely Salah! Not sure about the nasal celebration though haha." And a fourth Liverpool fan concluded: "The Salah celebration is the new Salah Challenge."
