What kit will Arsenal wear in Champions League final against PSG today?

Arsenal’s kit selection for the Champions League final has been confirmed.

Standing in Arsenal’s way of completing an historic Premier League and Champions League double are the current holders of European club football’s biggest prize, Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners sealed a place in Saturday’s showpiece in Budapest, Hungary and a rematch from last season’s final four showdown, by overcoming Atletico Madrid 2-1 on aggregate in a hard-fought semi-final.

As such, this will be Arsenal’s second-ever appearance in a Champions League final and it’s 20 years on from the first when they were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona after going down to ten men inside the opening 20 minutes.

On that night, ironically in Paris, Arsenal were the ‘away’ team and, due to a colour clash with Barcelona, they had to switch from their iconic redcurrant Nike shirt - worn as Arsenal waved goodbye to their historic home at Higbhury during the 20025-06 season - to their yellow changed kit.

Despite topping the table in the league phase, the Gunners are once again the ‘away’ team for the 2026 Champions League final. This is due to being placed on the blue path when the knockout phase draw took place in February.

Therefore, as the 'home' side, PSG will play in this season's home kit as they attempt to make it back-to-back Champions League final wins.

As PSG's strip contains some red, there had been some suggestions that Arsenal could be forced to wear a changed strip once again.

With the Gunners' away kit being blue, any change would likely have been the white and burgundy third kit.

Arsenal would definitely have had to wear their blue kit had Bayern Munich reached the final, but is has been confirmed that they will wear red for the final, making it their first Champions League final in which they have worn their home kit.

Now, it is worth pointing out that Arsenal will be wearing this season’s red home kit and not the new adidas home kit that was released earlier in the month.
