Charles and Manpreet dated for two years, before she vanished on their wedding day.
Charles searched for his missing fiancée for years after her disappearance but she was believed to have died.
He lost his job and went bankrupt in the fallout, with his life falling apart - while son Ethan, who was nine at the time, also suffered with her loss.
Manpreet posed as Saira as she was already married, but could not give up Charles - until she had to on their wedding day.
She vanished and he never saw her again until now - 15 years on - with Charles also turning to the church after she went missing.
Manpreet simply upped and left them both, nowhere to be found, leaving them reeling when they found her all these years on.
Who is Manpreet's daughter?
Manpreet's daughter is Aiesha, who used to be on the soap.
But Charles had no idea she even had a daughter the entire time they were together, with her said to have been around five years old at the time.
