What Harry Maguire did after Manchester United's victory over Leicester

Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has revealed that former teammate Harry Maguire visited his side in the Old Trafford dressing room following Saturday's victory for Manchester United.

Playing against your former club can often by a tricky experience especially when you're jeered and booed on your every touch of the ball from your once adoring fans.

But it didn't seem to have any effect on Maguire who had a solid display at the back and kept the likes of Jamie Vardy and James Maddison at bay to earn a clean sheet and 1-0 win.

Maguire only completed his £80million switch from the Foxes just over a month ago and he clearly still had a lot of affection for the club he called home for two years.

As a result he made two classy gestures to his former club after the game, the first being on social media.

Maguire tweeted: "Good luck to LCFC for the rest of the season... thanks for the reception" which was accompanied with shurgging and crying laughing emojis.

Choudhury also revealed that he visited his former colleagues after the game.

“He’s been in the changing room chatting with the boys. It’s nice," Choudhury told LeicestershireLive.

“We’re mates, so everyone is happy to see him doing well here, but we’re just concentrating on ourselves and trying to put things right.”
