Drake’s new album Iceman has already created big reactions online, but one moment from the project has now started a public fight between streamer Adin Ross and music critic Anthony Fantano. The issue began after Fantano reacted to a lyric from Drake’s song “Make Them Pay,” where the rapper mentioned Ross by name. Fantano strongly criticized the line during his livestream, and Ross quickly fired back with an angry response of his own.
The disagreement grabbed attention because both men already have very different relationships with Drake. Ross has worked with Drake several times through Kick streams and Stake-related collaborations, while Fantano has spent years openly criticizing Drake’s music. Their history became even more tense in 2022 after Drake messaged Fantano on Instagram and mocked his review ratings by saying his “existence is a Light 1.” Now, the release of Iceman has added another chapter to that ongoing tension.
