What channel is Istanbul Basaksehir vs Man Utd? Kick-off, TV and live stream information

After the high of Marcus Rashford’s 16-minute hat-trick in the 5-0 demolition of RB Leipzig, Manchester United came crashing down again on Sunday.

Their 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal - the first time the Gunners have won at Old Trafford since 2006, a game manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer played in - means Utd still have just two wins from their six Premier League games so far this season.

So while Man Utd’s European results have been impressive so far with Group H wins over the Leipzig and PSG, their domestic form means a win in Turkey is far from certain.

Reigning Turkish champions İstanbul Başakşehir boast a few names that will be familiar to Man Utd fans including former Reds right-back Rafael, ex-Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel and striker Demba Ba, who played for West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea during his time in England.

Istanbul Basaksehir vs Man Utd odds

Istanbul Basaksehir have lost each of their maiden Champions League group stage matches 2-0.

They have now failed to score in six of nine competitive games in 2020/21, with all five defeats coming by way of a 2-0 scoreline.

So the 2-0 to United scoreline tonight? It's an 11/2 shot with thepools.com and there are other trends worth following in tonight's early Champions League kick-off.

United penalty taker Bruno Fernandes has scored in eight of 11 UEFA starts since the beginning of 2019/20, grabbing the game's opener in four of his last seven European appearances, and 13 of United's last 16 competitive matches have featured a penalty. Fernandes is 15/4 to score the first goal tonight and 5/4 to score at any time .

Then there's United's ability to come flying out of the blocks. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have opened the scoring within 30 minutes in their last three UEFA encounters, while Basaksehir have seen all three of this season's Süper Lig home fixtures replicate the half-time score at full-time.

United to lead half-time and full-time is 21/20.
